Halloween prep

It’s a fairly dreary day in the D. Clouds and cold, lindsay has spent the day hanging in her happy jams.

We finished Lindsay’s Halloween costume today, making her a “Hold the Drama” shirt. She will transform into Jojo Siwa on Tuesday!

She also was super excited to try Starbucks new sugar-loaded colorful drink, the Zombie Frappuccino. While it does look cool, it was super yucky!

Gleaners

We took a trip to the local food bank where the girls made bowls for a charity auction. It was eye opening for them to see the city on the drive down and understand other children often go hungry.

Friday night family movie

Fitting for Halloween, which is right around the corner. PG ratings in the 1990s is much different than PG in 2017. Kids were a bit disturbed by this one!

Happy birthday, Emery

Today is Emery’s first birthday. We celebrated by attending the cutest Detroit themed party at a local play place. Unfortunately the birthday girl was absent because she got sick 🙁

Lindsay had a blast playing with all of the kids and make believing. It was super sweet.
